The late renowned physician Dr.S.C. Ghosh, with his sincere desire, indomitable work force and efforts and the vow to make quality medicines affordable to the poor people of the country, established the company called "The Homeo Research Laboratory (BD) Ltd" in Dhaka in the year 1917. Until 2017, the company was located in its own building at 109 Tanti Bazar, Dhaka city, now it has been shifted to 49/3, Rajabo, Ghorashal, Palash, Narsingdi. According to the conditions of the Department of Drug Administration, the factory cannot be kept at that location, and due to lack of space and various problems, we were not able to modernize the new medicine and medicine factory. Therefore, a plan was taken to set up a new and more modern factory at our own place in Ghorashal, Narsingdi district. We started the factory work in 2017. On May 13, 2018, we received approval from the Department of Drug Administration. At present, our factory building alone is spread over an area of ​​12,000 square feet. Due to the modern establishment of the factory We hope to be able to deliver more quality medicines to you. As the factory has been shifted to a new address, all our documents have to be approved by the Department of Drug Administration at the new address. Unfortunately, as per the instructions of the Drug Administration, the picture of the founder of our organization has to be removed from the medicine label and carton. We sincerely regret this. For the same reason, the former Tanti Bazar could not be given. I hope you will sincerely look into these unintentional issues. Starting its journey in 1917, the organization gained a good reputation in the world of homeopathy in the country in a very short time. This century-old homeopathy medicine manufacturing company "The Homeo Research Laboratory (BD) Ltd." is still known as the oldest original organization in the world of homeopathy medicine. Till date, this organization has been contributing with good reputation to meet the demand in the homeopathy medicine market of the country by manufacturing and supplying its quality homeopathy medicines. (In the light of the new drug policy in 1982, Homeopathy Research, like other pharmaceutical companies, had to obtain a license from the Drug Administration to produce medicines. At that time The founder's grandson, then Managing Director Sujash Chandra Guha Roy (B.Pharm. (Hons.) M. Pharm. R.Ph) (U.S.A) returned home from America.) Many of the officers of the Drug Administration Directorate at that time were in the Pharmacy Department of Dhaka University during his studies. He discussed and provided guidance to them and other renowned homeopathic doctors on matters related to homeopathic medicine. He obtained the drug production license (H-003) of our Homeopathic Research Laboratory and the separate registration of each medicine. It is worth noting that our organization has a separate license (H-009) for the preparation of dilution drugs and the Drug Administration Directorate. With an unquenchable desire to learn about the application of homeopathic medicine in developed countries, he visited the internationally renowned homeopathic medicine manufacturing company Borick & Tafel Company in Philadelphia several times during his stay in America. He contributed to modernizing the homeopathic research inherited from there and enriched the world of homeopathic medicine. Unfortunately, this stalwart of Homeo Research passed away on 7th June 2001 at the age of just 53. We remember him with reverence as the innovator of Homeo Research. He has been serving the countrymen for the past 108 years by preparing quality medicines under the direct supervision of experienced, G.M.P trained, technically knowledgeable Homeo Doctors and Chemists.
